Giuliano Pannuti is an Italian production designer.
With almost 30 years of experience in the film industry, he has established himself as a versatile and innovative artist known for his meticulous attention to detail and his sensitivity for both contemporary and period visual worlds, joined to the ability to collaborate seamlessly with directors, producers, and other key creatives.
Having graduated with a degree in Fine Arts from the Accademia Albertina in Turin, Giuliano moved to Rome where he obtained his Master’s Degree in Production Design at the CSC, Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia.
He began his career working with directors such as Lina Wertmüller, Francesco Nuti, Ferzan Özpetek, Terry Gilliam, and at a young age he started signing his own production designs for feature films by Pupi Avati, Neri Parenti, Carlo Verdone, Mimmo Calopresti and other Italian directors.
His portfolio showcases his ability to translate script concepts into visually striking sets and environments that enhance storytelling and captivate audiences.
He continues to push the boundaries of production design, constantly seeking new challenges and opportunities to showcase his creativity and expertise on screen, and the “Citadel:Diana” series for Amazon Prime and the movie “The Return” by Uberto Pasolini, both coming soon in 2024, will be a perfect example of the extent of his artistic and technical skills.
